Pregnancy care

From a positive pregnancy test to taking the baby home

The task of prenatal care is to monitor the development of the fetus(es) and the changes taking place in your body during the 9 months. Pregnancy is basically a completely physiological, natural process, so medical intervention is only necessary when abnormal conditions are detected. The purpose of the tests is to make sure that the baby-mother coexistence is harmonious and that any deviations are recognized in time.

In addition to the routine (mandatory) examinations, I provide the following examinations for my expectant mothers:

Expectant mothers in my practice can call me 24/7 in case of an urgent problem.

Measurement of cervical lenght

Cervical length measurement with ultrasound
Early shortening/opening of the cervix can predict premature birth. This process can often be stopped with medication.

Blood test tubes

Special laboratory checks
Iron deficiency, hypothyroidism, vitamin D deficiency. Hidden diseases, their management is also extremely important during pregnancy!

Fetus and DNA analyisis, NIPT test

Genetic tests
If required, the Panorama test is also available in our clinic, blood sampling is possible from the 10th week of pregnancy

Fetal growth chart

Examination of fetal growth
An ultrasound examination of the fetus is performed during every prenatal care session, so growth retardation can be recognized in time!

Fetal umbilical artery doppler

Fetal condition diagnosis
By measuring the blood flow in the fetal brain and umbilical cord, it is possible to infer the supply of oxygen and nutrients. Usually from week 36-37.

NST
