I am an obstetrician gynecologist Dr. Máté Hazay, graduated from the Semmelweis University in 2008 gained a summa cuma laude and obstetrics board examination in also done in 2013 with outstanding results. (CV here)

I belive, that the birth is the biggest miracle in life, and it is a real vocation to assist to it. In the Saint John's Hospital, the aim of the medical crew is to provide a family-friendly, cozy and relaxing atmosphere to promote a natural birth experience, requiring the less possible intervention. On the big day in the Delivery Room, not only a baby, but a Mommy and a Daddy is "born" and this feeling is not to be compared to anything else. The safety of these great moments is ensured by the hospital care, this means an efficient help if needed. 

 

As a member of our medical centre, I place particular emphasis on the prenatal care, so that the expectant patiens receive not only the minimum care required by the law, but also a wider range of screening tests ( e.g. breast-ultrasound, thyroid ultrasound and lab tests, CMV and toxoplasma pathogen detection, measurement of D-vitamin levels). All this combined with a flexible, patient-centered administration, guaranteed by our assistant. 

I am interested particularly in ultrasound diagnostics. I possess the level "B" qualification of the Hungarian Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology (MSzNUT)  and also the licence of the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF). Beside the general ob/gyn patient care (contraception, infections, infertility tests, bleeding disorders etc.) I engage willingly in gestational diabetes care, and in minimal invasive operations (laparoscopy, hysteroscopy)

I am married, my wife is a lawyer, hobbies are diving and swimming.
